PUBLICATIONS OF THE NOTTINGHAM ACTION GROUP ON HMOs
A full colour magazine containing in-depth coverage of a range of national and local topics relating to housing and planning legislation, polices and strategies, particularly where they concern HMOs and neighbourhoods, along with articles, photographs and other contributions from members and guest authors.
Black-and-white, usually four-page, newsletter appearing approximately once a month. This provides information about forthcoming NAG events and, as a rule, short summaries of current national, Nottingham and neighbourhood news stories and events.
As and when appropriate, the Nottingham Action Group on HMOs submits responses to a variety of consultations, both at a national and a local (Nottingham) level. Although the NAG is primarily concerned with matters to do with HMOs, including national and local legislation, from time to time the issues we are interested in encompass a wider brief. Also, the fact that the Nottingham Action Group on HMOs came about as a result of the concerns of local people living in their neighbourhoods means that its work reflects those neighbourhood roots and those concerns. Therefore, whenever the need arises, the NAG makes comments on planning applications and planning appeals which, in one way or another, can be seen to have an impact on neighbourhood balance, sustainability and cohesion, and future development.
