APPLICATION FOR HMO CERTIFICATE OF LAWFULNESS TURNED DOWN
 

Nottingham City Council has rejected an application for a Certificate of Lawfulness for use of a property in The Park as an HMO on the grounds that the applicant did not provide clear evidence of continued use of the property as an HMO since 2012 when the Council's Article 4 Direction requiring planning permission to be sought when converting a dwelling (Use Class C3) into an HMO (Use Class C4) came into effect.
