NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL'S EXECUTIVE BOARD APPROVES SCHEME FOR ADDITIONAL LICENSING OF HOUSES IN MULTIPLE OCCUPATION

Following on from the consultation carried out earlier in the year (Nottingham Consultation on Additional Licensing of HMOs February-May 2013 ), on the 17 September 2013, a report was presented to Nottingham City Council's Executive Board which proposed a scheme for additional licensing of HMOs in designated areas of the City, and also sought approval of HMO licence conditions and fees.

The Council's Executive Board approved the recommendations of the report and additional licensing of HMOs in the designated areas will begin on 1 January 2014.
