Nottingham City Council has received an application for permission to construct first floor extensions to the dwelling on the corner of Hill Side and Derby Road, Lenton in order to create two additional C4 HMOs (twelve additional bed spaces). The dwelling, originally a pair of cottages associated with Wollaton Hall, currently consists of a total of 18 bed spaces located in four C4 HMOs
A planning application (22/00314/PFUL3), dated 8 February 2022, has been received by Nottingham City Council. The application, made on behalf of Mr. Nishad Nijamali, Exxco1 Ltd., Cambridge, is seeking permission to construct first floor extensions to the present building primary in order to create an additional 12 bed spaces. The property, originally built as cottages for employees of Wollaton Hall, is located on the corner of Hill Side and Derby Road, opposite Lenton Lodge. In recent years it has been the subject of a number of changes of use, culminating in permission being given in September 2012 for change of use from warden supervised hostel (Betel Group) to four Class C4 (small) HMOs with a total of 18 bed spaces (see Planning Application 11/03307/PFUL3 and the subsequent resubmission 12/01802/PFUL3).
