LETTINGS FIRM TARGETS TOP END OF MARKET FOR CITY'S STUDENTS
A new student letting division is being launched by FHP Living. David Hargreaves, partner at the firm, said: “FHP Student Living is offering something a bit different to what everyone else is doing – city centre, top-end developments, suitable for students.”
The firm is also launching the FHP Student Living Privilege card, offering discounts at shops and bars throughout the city.
David said: “With 23,500 students at Nottingham Trent University alone, this market is still an area of growth.
“Nottingham as a whole has plenty to offer and keep students in the city.
“In fact around 30 per cent of students stay on in Nottingham after they have finished studying.”
Henry Shaw, head of lettings, added: “With more and more students coming to university in Nottingham, the demand for high-quality student accommodation, especially in the city, is ever-increasing.
“We have taken on some high-quality student stock and we feel it is important to distinguish our available student property from our high-end professional property, hence launching the brand in its own right, FHP Student Living.
“I think this will be particularly popular with students throughout the city. Nottingham Trent University students, especially, are looking to live in the city centre more an more, which ties in perfectly well with the property we have to offer.
“Our office is in the heart of the Lace `market and most of our staff have been students not so long ago, so we know exactly how to help them find what they’re looking for.”
