Houses in Multiple Occupation

Residents continue to be concerned about HMOs across the ward. We have been working with residents in Wollaton Park Estate to encourage them to comment on two different planning issues, one a retrospective application to allow 2 Orston Drive to be used as an HMO, and the other is an appeal against a City Council decision which has gone to the Planning Inspectorate for 7 Wemyss Gardens to be used as an HMO. We are grateful for all the comments people have made and will feedback results when we get them. Residents in Lenton are keen to look at some particular houses in “the Drives” which we are pursuing with the Safer Housing team.

Edna G Olds School

We are glad to report that Edna G Olds Primary has been found Outstanding by OFSTED.

New Neighbourhood Development Officer

We now have a new NDO, Fi Cusick, you can contact her to raise issues Fi.cusick@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. We have met with her and talked about priorities and work needed to meet our local pledges. We have agreed that Ward Walks will be organised for Wednesday mornings.

Best wishes,

Sally, Pavlos & Dave
